OUR HISTORY

We were chartered on December 16, 2001 when President James A. Williams merged the following chapters

• Local    438 Steubenville, OH.
• Local    804 Clarksburg, WV.
• Local    813 Huntington, WV.
• Local    891 Roanoke VA.
• Local    970 Charleston, WV.
• Local    947 Cumberland, MD.
• Local  1072 Ashland Ky.
• Local  1144 Parkersburg, WV.
• Local   1195 Charleston WV.

This combination formed District Council #53 with a Geographical Jurisdiction of 2 counties in Maryland, 15 counties in Ohio, 15 counties in Kentucky, 37 Counties in Virginia and all 55 Counties in West Virginia.

There are over 1,800 members in DC #53 and we are located at 115 Spring Street, Charleston WV. 25302.
